Steven Abbott Associates LLP Secure Planning Permission for Indoor Skating Facility
Steven Abbott Associates LLP, acting as professional planning advisor and agent, has recently secured planning permission on behalf of Beast Rampz for an indoor skate park in Ardwick, Manchester.
The industrial unit subject to the application had been vacant for many months before our involvement and, despite Manchester City Council’s preference that the unit remained available for industrial use, Steven Abbott Associates LLP were successful in persuading the planning officers that the proposals would be of great benefit to the Ardwick area and also provide Manchester with a facility which would be of such a high quality it would attract skaters from all over the country.
The 27, 500 sq ft indoor skate park opened this year and has been a great success and is already earning national acclaim. Mark Newbould from Beast Rampz said,
“We are incredibly grateful for the work that Steven Abbott Associates LLP did for us and without them this would never have happened”
Christie McDonald, an Associate at Steven Abbott Associates LLP said,
“This was a very rewarding application to be involved in and we were delighted when Manchester City Council accepted our arguments relating to the new skate park providing great regenerative benefits and giving the youth and adults of the area and beyond a high quality facility where they can spend productive time in a safe and controlled environment”
