Expert Witness Work
Two of SAA’s partners, Steven Abbott and Alastair Skelton, are available for independent expert witness work as experienced chartered town planners with a wealth of expertise.
Their experience in planning has been gained in various parts of the country on a vast array of development types acting as planning officers and consultants.
In Steven’s case this has covered a continuous period since 1975 and in Alastair’s since 1985.
Expert Witness work is a natural extension of the partners’ roles as very experienced planning consultants and a way of drawing on their experience to assist the Courts and the public interest.
A recent example of this expert witness work involved Steven in an Oxford County Court trial case (Turley v Henley Health Care, 2016).
